Default Integra, Corolla, or Sentra?

Hey guys. I've kinda been looking at some cars to replace my slowly-dying 94 tercel. I'm a 20 year old full time college student. I would want a small car, reliable, decent gas mileage, and decent insurance rates. Preferably under 60k miles or so, 5 speed, cruise control, sunroof.

2000-2001 sentra SE (SR20DE) (2.0L, 145hp, 2674lbs, 24/31mpg)
1998-2001 integra LS/GS 4 door (1.8L, 140hp, 2700 lbs, 25/31mpg)
2001-2002 corolla LE (1.8L, 125hp, 2450 lbs, 31/38mpg)

these are all pretty reliable, good-looking, last a while, and arent as common as a civic. And theyre all a big step up from my rusting 82hp tercel. what do you guys think? any other options? (besides a civic, obviously) thanks

I would say integra, because they are one of the best cars made out there for the size of engine and the power it produces. but insurance would be kinda high and the risk of getting it jacked is pretty high too. if you dont want something as flashy nd easy on insurance, i'd go with corolla but you sacrafise power for something theives dont want and lower insuranc rates. Sentras are nice too.

You can't go wrong with any of the cars but since you came on a Integra site most of the responses will be to get the Integra but whats wrong with the Civic it compares directly with the Sentra and Corolla more than the Integra does, but the choice is yours and it depends on what you want to do with the car. Is it just for basic transportation do you plan on tricking it out etc.

I agree with BONE...coming into the Integra forum will get you biased answers...including mine, . I have a 2000 LS...and love it. Good gas mileage, nice car looks, and it'll last forever. Eventhough it's a 2 door, it's still really practical...plus I don't care for 4 door Integras too much. But the choice is yours and happy hunting.

buy an Integra

BONE- the car will be for basic transportation, but i want something nice-looking, a little more practical than the 2 door tercel, and a little better handling, especially on wet roads. And the tercel doesnt have AC, power locks/windows, cruise control, sunroof, and its only a 4-speed. Just a small car with decent power, but with basic luxuries like these, while still being fairly efficient on gas. nothing really for mods other than the audio.

and not a civic, well, because everyone and their mother has a civic, these 3 and the tercel arent nearly as common as civics. (everyone and their mother drives an integra as well, but theyre all 2 doors)

and yes, i know responses will be biased... thats why i posted this on a corolla forum, a sentra forum, here, as well as the tercel forum

as long as you don't get a mustang or a camaro, or God forbid... a truck or SUV...you're doing ok in my book.

Any one of those cars would be a step up from a Tercel. Integra over the Corolla (unless it's old school) & Sentra (unless it's an SE-R. Either or, like I said all would be a step up. Heck a few steps.

are you serious?
those cars are barely worthy of being compared to a civic, much less an integra.

this shouldn't even be a discussion...sentra's are crap...i know, my little brother drives one..corolla's are horribly ugly, especially the funny looking interior...if u have the chance to get an integra, get it. it'll be worth a whole lot more when u get ready to sell it, and it's a more reliable and better looking vehicle
