Hello Karly-

I don't really have a 'lowest price' right now, but I am asking $6500

have only owned the vehicle for about 3 months, and due to my

Scooter?

Edit.. I'd talk to them on the phone.. and determine that you want a non-refundable deposit if they're really serious.

I wouldn't even ask for a deposit... just flat out say, "There is a deposit of blahblahblah required... "

'Nother edit... (Karly is a girl's name I'm assuming?) Anyway... if she hadn't said "car" later on in the response, I would have bet she thought the Sol was a Scooter. :reechy:
Imagine her surprise on delivery day.

you said in your e-mail that it is reliable yet you are selling it because it is costing you too much money to keep it running. :nono:

:werd: what's up with that?

you've been bitching about the problems you've run into and what it's costing you to keep it up (which is the reason for selling), and now suddenly "it runs strong and reliably"? that is fuked up.. :squint:

 to you and all shady sellers.. :squint:

anyway, to address the topic at hand, he's trying to scam you, which is a little ironic..

a big fat NO - it is a SCAM... i got an email like this when i was selling my CRX, checked the 'net and found a few articles about it. here's an example. the "what is your lowest price" and the fact that this person claims to be from alaska (an area far from where the car is for sale) are dead givaways.

That's a scam.

Spend the 30 bucks to put the car up on autotrader, and skip trying to sell it to a bunch of flakes on forums.

And the next time you do anything even remotely involving money, be sure to have a signed agreement between yourself and the other party which stipulates any and all terms.
