Yes it has a bulb setting but I don't have my remote cable yet.....besides the eclipse is over:slap:

I wasnt looking for an Eclipse. Heck, I didnt even know there was one. I just love pics like this...



Too bad we arent closer to the pole to get a good semi-circular streak from the stars.

why do you need a remote cable? it doesn't keep the shutter open until you press it again?

the 300d keeps it open until the shutter is pressed again.

It keeps the shutter open as long as the shutter button is pressed. Problem with doing it on camera without the cable is every time you touch the camera it shakes it and causes fuzziness in the image.

Most cameras require you hold the shutter release to keep it open for a duration not that you hit the release twice.
