do you have an actual career?
i'm 24, and don't have one (not even a job actually). and i'm trying to decide if i should just apply at a clothing store or something and work for now, while still looking for something better, or if i should just hold out for a real job. just feels wierd to me to apply to a clothing store or something, where i expect high school kids to be working. :dunno:

I got a career job. I just now gotta sit and wait it out for the money to come rolling in. Do what you gotta do to make money. As long as its not demeaning like some members...Im not gonna say anynames :rick:

My current job can turn into a career if I want it to. I'm also working on some side projects which I'm about 70% sure will lead into some kind of career for me.

no :wtc: i havent had any luck getting started around here....so i'm forced, now, to take a "whatever" job to get my bills paid..and i'm not even having luck with that. it's beginning to piss me off, frankly.

i think i have a career. i think they may be hiring at my old workplace in anaheim across from Fry's. it's technical support on dsl routers/firewalls. do you want me to find out or are you not interested?

I kind of do, I was an auto mechanic apprentice at Honda. But now I'm going back to school to finish up some courses. I think in the meantime just to have some spending money I might work in retail or another auto shop. I'm trying to get my CA smog license in like 5 months so I can become a balla.

i think i have a career, i work for the company that i will most probably work for after graduation, i hope. engineering, i like it. i do the stuff that the other guys here do, just in the progress of a degree.
