Default Final thoughts??

I'm probably going to order a new hard drive this afternoon to complete my new system.

Specs on the system are as follows:

AMD 64 processor at 3200
K8V Deluxe MB
512 Crucial RAM DDR400
Radeon 9800 Pro Sapphire at 128
WD 160Gb 7400RPM HD for storage
Sony 8X DVD burner
Sony 52X CD burner/DVD reader

New hard drive I'm thinking of picking up unless you guys can persuade me otherwise:

Western Digital Serial ATA (SATA), Raptor 3.5" Internal Hard Drive 36.7GB, 10,000 RPM. 5 Year Warranty

What you think? Give me valuable opinions please!

Thanks!!

What good is a 36GB hard drive these days? I have a 30 sitting here collecting dust. I run 2 100 GB drives. So much better. jmo

It's going to be used to run only windows and programs that total up to about 9GB. I want the speed with the programs and OS. I'll use the larger 160GB for the storage.

Program speed will really be helped by upgrading memory. The HD will help, but mainly read/write speeds. Sounds like a good plan though. Put another 512 of RAM in there too.
