Default Tire recomendations?

Im going to need some new tires for my subaru pretty soon. Its a 01 subaru 2.5rs and In about a week I should be getting my D2 coilovers in. My stock tires suck right now, I would like to upgrade to something that would stick more and maybe lower the size a little bit. Im in oregon so rain is 3/4 of the year.

Thanks!

Jon

BFGoodrich Traction T/A (good wet weather traction=good 4 u)

I put these on a little over a month ago and I love 'em. They grip great. Go to Tirerack.com and review tires for your vehicle and application. That's what I did and I chose these for my '89 CRX Si. They were rated(at the time) #1 for all-weather high performance tires.

Questions:

1. What's your price range?
2. Are you going to drive them in snow?

Looking to spend no more then 600 bucks. But I guess if I have the money then I might spend more.

Um probably no. I Plan on getting a extra set of snow tires for when I go up to the mountain. Where I live we only get snow every other year but last year school was shut down for a week! It was awesome.

If you don't need snow traction, totally disregard any comment about any all season tire. They give up dry traction for snow traction.

Figure you're gonna spend $80 to $100 on mounting/balancing do you want to keep the price of the tires after shipping around $500.

You can get a set of Kumho MX from tirerack for $92 a tire.

You can also get a set of Toyo T1-S from onlinetires.com for $108 a tire.

The MX will be stickier in the dry and on damp pavement. The T1-S has better hydroplane resistance and is better in heavy rain.
