We're not exactly sure, but all signs were pointing to some sort of congenital heart problem.
He's been kind of weak for the past few months, and I've been taking him in about every 3 weeks for a steroid injection, which would make him ok for another 3 weeks. But the last shot we gave him didn't help, and then yesterday we noticed he couldn't walk (he'd take on step and his back leg would give out and he'd fall over). And he stopped eating. :wtc:
I've had him for 5 years or so, ever since he was a kitten, and we thought he was a female and called him Rosey (because one of his paws and half his nose were pink, and the rest black). But then we found out he was male, and were trying to think of another name, and since I was watching Charles in Charge at the time, I named him after Buddy Lembeck.
