I hate customer service.. but hey.. out of respect... I treat the people who are helping me with more patience and respect because I know what shit they have to deal with.

I look at it this way... if you walk out of a crappy job learning something like that... well.. that made it just a little bit worth it.

That and the cash

Im a network analyst at the law firm i work for.
Most of the Partners here are assholes to begin with.

Last week I had a senior asshole Equity partner call me because he was unable to connect to our domain VIA citrix.

we have a few offices that are linked to us via VPN.
Im guiding him on how to login etc.... and hes calling me a liar...lol... ( what a jerk off meanwhile he knows nothing about I.T )
Eventually I got him logged in and hes like that this has never been the way, last time he logged in ( two weeks ago ) it wasnt this way, he kept calling me a liar etc..... I didnt give a shit cause I have the email stapled to my wall stating when the new VPN would be crossed over at this office. dated Feb 17, 04.....now how does that equal a few weeks ago???????

Lawyers = asshole, liars, and just dont have a very good personality.

Plus this attorney is like 5'6 a tad on the average side and looks like a ****en muskrat.

I hope he catches herpies or something.

i totally feel you. i worked retail for 4 years, and thankfully i now have the opportunity to get away from it. i mean you get some really great customers (especially at my last job) that make you enjoy yourself, but then there are some out there that aren't worth dealing with for $6.50/hr.

Been there, done that, the worst place i've worked at was at the Mall. You have to deal with ignorant customers who think they pay your pay check. That and you don't have a fixed schedual with guaranted hours.

I'm quite the opposite actually. I didn't have a job for two years because I didn't know what I wanted to do and my one job requirment was that I didn't want to deal with customers. Basically, people are stupid and I hate them. So I started working here at the hotel on the graveyard shift. Perfect for me, hardly ever see customers, phone doesn't ring, just chill on the computer for 8 hours.

Now it's winter and there is no graveyard shift so I'm working the afternoon/evening shift. It has totally made me change my mind about people. 99% of the people I encounter here at the hotel are sooooooooo nice. There is the occasional drunk asshole or something, but I just kick them out so that makes up for it because kicking out people that are pricks is fun.

And I have no idea why I just typed all that, I guess because I'm bored at work, hehehe.
