You could use "warm" to say "It's a little warmer out today than it was yesterday."
When using the term "hot," say "That chic sure is hot!" or "DAYUM! That is hotter'n a mofo, yo. Fo'real."
It's fun using the saying "It's a tiddy bit nipply out. Wish it were hooter, but breast warm will do."

You're in Quebec so I'm guessing you use the metric system. So if it were say 35°C outside you'd say, "damn it's hot out today!" But if it were 25°C outside you would say, "it's nice and warm today."

i like my coffee warm, not hot.
you can warm food in the microwave, over do it and it'll get too hot.
it's warm outside (60 - 70 degrees)
it's hot outside (80 - 90 degrees)
it's africa outside (90+)
