I've been wondering about that car since I heard the 500 hp 500 tq rumor.

Those rear tires are wide as hell. I don't quite get why they're hiding it though...the body should look essentially the same as the 05 base vette, right?

yeah basically...some of the stuff that looks to be added is fender flares, different rims, and it looks as it might have a scoop or something on the hood (cant really tell yet though) and then theres the brake vent ducts just like the original Z06's had.

And yeah those tires are wide as hell!

i think they're hiding it because the body mods are more distinctive this time around

Wow  Not only does it look nice, but the specs on that thing are scary. The Z06 has got to be able to top 200....the base vette supposedly tops out at 186. For the price, that car will be tough to beat. Its gonna be a sub $60k Ferrari killer.

Sub 60k is being quite optomistic man. It's looking more like 65k MSRP.

The main difference I see, is it looks like a Fixed Roof! No more hatchback! Yay! Keeping true to the Z06 fashion.

If the '05 Z06 is priced under 60k (like around 55k) im going to pick one up.

Naturally aspirated too, likely get over 20mpg (the 5.7 gets roughly 26-28 now, overall), and pass smog.

Awesome.
