I removed the rear spring pads and that dropped the rear by about 3/4-1" so it's a lot lower in the rear now

nope just the S52. the FTD was set in a S52
the S54 guys (E46 M3) didn't have a chance
the only E46 M3 guy that beat my time did so by about .8 seconds.
