Default any autocad people?

i can't figure out how to setup the scale/measurements for this thing. i'm trying to redraw a floor plan that i want to make adjustments to but i havent used cad since high school, 5+ years ago. I have autocad 2005, got a good deal on it.

It's been a while since I've used it. try ddunits in the cmd line. If not, there should be something for it in the pulldown menus :dunno:

I know ProE and Solidworks...but not autocad.

How do you mean scale/measurements?

Talking about Drawing Limits or reducing the scale of something or what?

im redoing a floor plan that's for a house thats 62'8 by 26'0 and can't remember how to set it up right. it's been so long since i used this kind of software and it's a lot more advanced now. i'll probably just try to find some tutorials somewhere.

Oh. I get it now. I personally never used custom scales like that. I always did the conversions on paper or in my head since they were a bish for me to setup on the program. Or I was lazy, I dunno.

I always made things in 20x12 drawing limits and then made 1/4" = 1' and then just went on from that. Seemed to work for me.
