well my friend with the Elise got the fastest none BMW class.

My other friend (the instructor) got the fastest time of the da with 50.008 WOOT!

My time was 56.8xx, 55.8xx then final run was 55.78x.

I think I could have or should have been able to shave another 1 second off. This was my personal feeling as well as my friend (the instructor). I say my fatigue was a big factor, because after the afternoon practice I was super tired.

I know I ran faster than 55.7x during the practice runs. One of the practice run was just about perfect with no mistakes. On the timed runs I made at least 3 mistakes each run... and they were all different ones on each run

My friend chris didn't do the timed runs but on his last practice runs he saw his time of 60.xxx because they set the timer up during his session.

I leave 8:15.
8:20 almost blow my motor thanks to hydrolock and a slightly flooded road.
9am almost die on freeway thanks to beaner in Thunderbird hitting a huge puddle at 85, dousing my car with water so I can't see anything, him spinning out and almost hitting me, car behind him cutting across freeway and almost hitting me.
I arrive 9:30, see derek.
9:40 we see Rick in line to run, go over and talk to him. Meet his friend Mike with a fast black Mcoupe on R compounds.
Rick practices until 11am, I take pictures and hang out.
Lunch from 11:15-12:15.
More practice in afternoon, I get to ride along with Mike in teh black M coupe...man that guy can drive.
Watch timed runs and take pics til 4:30...saw teh elise crash :eek3:
6:30pm arrive home and bbq before more rain.

Good times Rick

He was on one of the fastest sections of the track, a semi slalom...he spun and hit a light pole.
