Default Deer: 0, RX-7: 1

On my way home from work last night, my path crossed with a deer who thought it would be really neat to bolt out of the woods right in front of me.

Here's what happens to an RX-7 when it suffers from a high-speed impact from a deer.

Overall:

Low:

Passenger's door:

My car suffered mostly replaceable sheetmetal damage, I already happen to have a spare headlight for that side. :happysad:

My hood is the somewhat uncommon factory aluminum unit ($150-200 used,) so I'm pretty angry about that. I might just swap on an aluminum Turbo II hood so I'll be ready for a swap later.

I went back for it with a truck... if it was still there, I would've had plenty of free vension. It escaped though, odd considering the entire back side of the thing was probably shattered.

I'm just glad I didn't hit it straight on and have the thing hit the windsheild.

i hit a dear with my old car... it was a total lost! the head of the dear smashed in the windsheild and blood was all over the place... wasnt nice had to get the car towed away and pull the corps of the dear in the woods. Furtunatly here the dear is considered government proprety, so the government paid the total lost...
