Default I almost owned myself...

I typed "www.supernova.org" instead of www.suprnova.org. I got to the part where they ask for your credit card and I was like hmm...wait a minute.

I am teh interweb noob.

On a related note, in what ways is bit torrent better than something like kazaa lite?

In my experience it's faster at times and there are a lot less corrupt files.

You always get complete files and you can usually find much more complete albums and more obscure software and movies. The albums you download will all be of the same bitrate and of good quality, no wishy washy stuff like you see off of Kazaa where you download one song from one person, another from another person, and so on, mixing bitrates and sometimes not even getting the correct song.

It's just a bit more organized.

The downside is it tends to be a little bit slower because it depends on people leaving their downloads open - even after their download is complete - so that it can be uploaded to others in bits and pieces as others need. Naturally most people close their download when it's done and unfortunatly no one else gets to benefit from their bandwidth when they do that, so it slows it down for everyone.

All in all, you're getting a much more organized and complete set of songs, movies, software, etc with BitTorrent files than you are with Kazaa - in general.
