that sounds like a serious machine. I think the ports and ease of opening and closing are more important than looks or space saving. are you going to get a back up power pack?
That would top it all off.

Stick with a mid tower.

That is a nice case. Just mate it with a good quiet power supply. Just note that the case is "upside down" meaning that the PS is on the bottom, and the PCI cards are flipped.

im liking lian li ...reliable/clean fitting?
i'll post the ones i like for look...pls tell me any cons you can think of. i dont want a case that i get, and it is impossible to work in, or something looks shady and i just didnt catch.

EDIT: Is a temp gauge useful? i see it on the gamer machines, but those aren't my Cup o tea...i want something modern, not all crazy lit up.

is that just computer rice?

I will never buy anything other Lian after trying their cases. Quality is top notch. Pieces FIT together. CLEAN and everything is just great. Just think they are over priced, but otherwise, it's fantabulous. Temp gauge only useful if you overclock and really want to keep an eye on temps, but then it's not bad to have. I have three :exnbp:
