I wouldn't touch it.
I would need full documentation of the work done on it and a guarantee from the body shop that all necessary reinforcement to the body and pan have been done.
We used to do this with VW Bugs and the same principal applies. If you take off the roof then a very important part of the structural integrity has been compromised and has to be reinforced somehow.
