can the family understand stewie or not? never seen the show till today when my friend let me borrow his 1st and 2nd season on DVDs,...i was under the impression that the family couldnt understand stewie but sometimes it seems like they can

Your not supposed to know. In the episode where their house becomes its own country it is brought up at the end.
