Default Octane Booster Chemicals

This is purely hypothetical.

Has anyone ever used any of those octane booster chemicals? Im curious if they even work. I was at walmart the other day buying windshield washer fluid and saw them. I noticed that NOS even makes one now. Anyone got any information?

If I can't find anywhere to pick up some 110 lead oct, I use the race grade because it contains a hint of nitromethane.

Waste of money really and it tends to gum up the injectors.

Octane booster regardless of brand does the same thing and has the same results...sludge in the tank, clogged injectors or lines etc.

Not a good idea to use bottle boosters in general.

A guy I knew with a 12-second stock B16A with a 80shot of nitrous used the street formula (blue bottle) every time we'd go to the track. They're not really new, they've been out for at least four years.

Honestly, thats what i was thinking. The most i use is a high end complete fuel system cleaner and no octane booster, and also will use some Gas with 10% ethanol for added cleaning agents
