I just picked up a couple S5 'vert wheels for the front of my car to replace the stock S4 wheels I had up there. The S5 Turbo II wheels in the back I've had for a while (since I curbed the original h: )

Anyway, the fronts where contract made by BBS for all the convertable FC's, they weigh 11.5 pounds. 15x6.5". The rears are license made BBS copies used on all 89-91 RX-7 Turbo II's. 16x7".

The goal was to have lightweight 15's in the front, besides the weight advantage I can also use cheaper tires on it. I wanted 16's in the back for the bigger meats. These look close enough to work, IMHO.

looks good IMO, maybe but a BBS cap on the back or take the one off the front so it looks less mismatched.

 

I ran it for a bit without centercaps (the rears have caps too), but that looked kinda funny on it's own. :dunno:

That and I can't get the front style caps for the rear. They attach in a different way... plus the front caps actually say "Mazda."

 

I mounted the tires for him. In person u can really tell the difference b/c the center caps. Im trying to convince him to paint them :rick:

 

Meshies look so good on the FC... Black mesh would be nice.
