crap dead mb :(
After ~4years of good service my Asus P4T died on me last night.
I tried to revive it the best I could but nothing worked. Right now it will power up but only recognize 64mb out of the 1024mbs of ram installed. It is also seeing phantom cards that are not installed....
I don't want to upgrade yet but looks like I'll be forced to do it.

Yep only 423pin. No one has a 423pin mb.
I've already found a 478pin mb in my pile of spare parts. I've been waiting to upgrade, until 4+GHz processors were common. By then I should be able to get 3+GHz for ~150.
So I'll just do this interim upgrade until I can get a 5GHz processor for $250ish

I just realized that I went from having 5 working computers down to 1. The laptop I bought from stepanty while back...

If you are abandoning the board, I need the mounting hardware that secures the heatsink to the mb. I just had a P4T with the original, nasty mounting brackets fail on me... Brackets are warped and no longer holding the sink to the processor. h:

You want the cpu too? It's 1.7GHz but I've had it OCed to 1836MHz for about 1 year.
