Yeah but only the republicans feel like doing that.

I'd say that I'm probably the most well-prepared and articulate member of the democratic side of things around these parts, and I really don't have the energy to "debate" with the republicans on this forum who have proven time and again that they will cling to their rhetorical principles even in the total absence of any sort of facts with which to back them up.

What would that demonstrate, other than that I have facts and can process logic and they can't? Find me a qualified representative of their ideology and I'd gladly have a discussion with them. But they've nominated BonzoAPD who is not someone I would consider even remotely worth having a formal debate with. A basic understanding of the rules of engagement for debate, and logic, would be required.

Yes I could be far more self important if I felt like it.

Nobody else here seems to think it's worth their time to "debate" Bonzo, and I'm certainly not doin it just for lack of other participants.
