Default ****ing cops

i got a ticket for 53 in a 35 and the crappy thing about it is that i was passing a guy who was going 20 and kept slowing down-so i pass him on a four lane road and i see a black car off to the side and then i notice its a cop so i start trying to avoid him and got in front of a couple cars- by that time it had merged to two lane. i went about two blocks then he flips on his lights and passes people in theoncoming lane to stop me and to top it all of i cant find my insurance card so he starts giving me grief about it and i say do u honestly think i would drive this valuable of a car with no insurance- he says no and lets me have a warning on that then he hands me the speeding ticket and i head on my way now i have to use the money that i was going to buy the last parts i need for my turbo kit on a attny

Well, that sucks but don't blame the cop, he's just doing his job. Take a litte responsibility for your own actions, you were, after all, breaking the law.

Its not so much about him stopping you as it is him NOTICING you. A traffic cop sees a million cars a day, they stop the ones they notice doing something out of the ordinary. They notice the ones driving erratically, the ones blowing past all the others, the ones weaving in and out of lanes, the ones driving way too slow, and the ones with flash paint jobs, bling-bling rims, giant wings, and "sporty" exhausts. Especially "sporty" exhausts. So if your teg has one, thats probably why he noticed you, and not some minivan or Thunderbird.

Still, that sucks bro, sorry to hear about your misfortune.

Those damn cops. Always pulling people over doing illegal things.

Owning an Integra is also owning the fact that you are going to be profiled. And you ARE in K-Town. Isn't street racing pretty popular there.

And the cop gave you a big break on not having proof of insurance.

is it a manditory court date? or can you just pay the fine and not go to court? because if you have to go to court,..the cop could have put down a little note to the judge saying something like "didnt show proof of insurance" and then you would have to show the judge proof on your court date
