Police ID stabbing victim
Westminster woman, 55, was killed in her home early Wednesday and her teen son was injured in possible robbery attempt.

The Westminster woman who was stabbed to death Wednesday has been identified as 55-year-old Ariet Girgis.
Officers found Girgis dead in her bedroom in the 14600 block of Plum Street early Wednesday morning after a possible home invasion robbery. She and her son were asleep in the home, police said.
Girgis' son, 17, was found next door with cuts and bruises.
The teenager was tied up and left on the floor of his bedroom, hearing rustling sounds in the rest of the house, police said.
After loosening his bindings, he slid out of a back window to his neighbor's home to call the police.
Girgis' son said the assailants were two black men in their 20s. He is currently staying with relatives until the police finish their investigation.
