Video Wall/Data Wall Research
I'm trying to find images and ideas on how to put something like this together. I don't even know if the above terms are the correct ones, but it's how I can best say it.
Basically it'd be a combination of TV's, PC's, and monitors that I can use to multi-task, showing various news channels, allow me to monitor the site while playing a game on another. Something like that.
If anyone has any images or links, I'd greatly appreciate it.

my old job had 9 monitor video wall. it was cool.
the most we ever did was try to watch movies on it, didn't work to well
.
it's cool, but if you try to get a nice one with thin monitors and all, it'll be expensive. our 9 wall screen was like $10,000 i think. i dunno.
coolness factor = high.
realworld use factor = eh, not so high.

A couple of multi-headed video card can get you something like 9 monitors controlled by the same PC. Use thin-border LCDs to mount 'em nicely. Toss in a TV tuner card if thats your bag.
Years ago I saw this awesome LCD array on eBay for like $100,000. It was five monitors horizontally, two vertically. Probably intended for use at a datacenter or some kind of complicated research job.

It's not a super easy project. It can be done, there's pleny of equipment and software out there for it... but it's going to take time and tinkering.
Plug and Play setups for that kind of thing cost tons of money.
