doood, I personally thought it made more sense to have him as an old guy, because it was his symbol of redemption from the dark side. Having Hayden there symbolizes to me his descent to the dark side. Plus the fact that his long hair like that is only seen in episode 3 where he falls completely to the dark side takes away from it to me.

I liked it better when Anakin was redeemed by his son and they showed him as a reformed Jedi old dood. Not the impulsive, fear and hate filled younger form of himself. Just my opinion, but yeah h:

you have a point

....but i guess you cant have a force ghost as a jedi who became sith and back to jedi...and probably because old annakin was more machine than man.... h: my take on it with his EP3 hair is that where annakin was as obi wan says "where annakin ceased to exist" and is technically dead... :dunno:

In the '97 release, I hated that scene. Jabba looked like Al Roker.

But I liked it because it helped the storyline and introduced Jabba's character sooner.

It's good that in this release, it was cleaned up a bit.

I still didn't watch ROTJ yet, but I dug up my old school early 80's Star Wars Figures :eek3:

I watched all 3 and I definitey didn't like the party scene at the end. I liked the refreshed look though. More sparks from lightsabers, lasers are crisper.

I just watched all 3 (4,5,6) of the original starwars on dvd for the first time. I kinda see what all the craze its about. These look great on dvd as far as clarity. One thing i noticed on the first dvd was that there is a scene during the trash compactor part where r2d2 and c3p0 are in the control room and the storm troopers bust in. Well when they enter the room if you look at the guy on the right as he walks in he busts his head on the door that didnt open all the way and you hear a "CLANK" in surround sound. Then you see him in the background tryin to pull his helmet back down. I just wonder why they kept this scene?

it is one of the more famous scenes in the star wars universe. if you notice that boba fett has a dent in his helmet.. and also how Jango Fett in EP. 2 did the same when he went aboard the Slave 1.

it was a movie mistake that made sense in the SW universe on how Jango Fett was "only human"...and his clones did the same.
