How do you tell if a bumper is real mugen? Someone told me it should have mugen in raised lettering on the inside. I'm not seeing it? Maybe I am looking in the wrong spot. Where is it supposed to say it? By the way it is a Mugen bumper and sides for a 5th gen prelude. Thanks

if you go to Japan and buy it from the mugen building, it's more than likely real. h:

If you are buying it from a fellow Honda owner, not a shop, it is most likely not real.

That's just my 0.02 on it.

I have a good idea that it is real. It has japanesse shippping stickers on it and a mugen badge came with the front bumper. Where on the bumper should the raised mugen lettering be?

 

anyone can fake stickers, badges and such. some taiwan company went as far as copying Vision Technica products down to the stamp on the lenses and the box itself


depends on quality, price, and where you buy it from.

 

do you know where to look though, just to be one hundred percent sure?
