Default need laptop help

i am planning to buy one.

wat do u guys think of the averatec 3225 or 3220? It's light, smaller, and cheap and has the basics that I want, but I dont know how reliable it is...has any1 used one of them? the only difference i seem to see between the 3225 and the 3220 is that the 3225 has a bit more RAM

I have the Averatec 3150, and have had it for about 6 months so far. Not a bad laptop.

My gf just got a new Toshiba, although it barely qualifies as a laptop. The thing is HUGE! It's a desktop replacement rather than a portable.

yah i want some portable and i dont wanna start hating it because it's big n bulky or heavy...this seemed like it was thin and light enough for me to carry around. It's only 4.3 LBS and 1 inch thick..its a 12.1" i also dont wanna spend a ton of money...this is less than 1k

yeah actually Avaratec was one of her other options. Honestly I never heard of them but I know of people that had them and was told they are all right.
