91-01' Acura Integra GSR vs. 95-99 Eclipse GS-T
my friend has a 97 GST and it pulls strong. very quick little car. GSR is more practical though. GST has very little trunk space, and even smaller back seat space. if you drop even a pea shooter turbo in the GSR you can be very competative with a stock GST.
Honda is overall a better car than Mitsu. The integra might give up a little in acceleration, but will handle better, last longer, and not disappoint you with its build quality

As for the track I'm not sure. the GST is a nimble car, so don't underestimate it just because this is an integra forum. Because you know if you asked this at an eclipse forum they'd laugh at you for just asking.
Truthfully both are really great cars. 1/4 mile: GST hands down "stock for stock". As for handling, I'm sure its pretty close.
Look at the facts, not the spin.
you arent going to get an unbiased answer around here ....
ive driven a tsi fwd and a gsx, i liked them enough but they didnt "feel" as fast... there was no question though, both of these cars were faster than my gs-r...
i can say though, i do prefer the handling qualities of my integras over either of the dsm's i drove...
a friend of mine has ~5 grand into his 1st gen TSi AWD including the cost of the car and he hit a 12.3 at the track this summer..... might be something else you want to keep in mind.
if you go to a dsm forum, they are all gonna say dsm > honda and on a honda forum, honda > dsm....
go drive them both, pick your favorite and enjoy it.
1 last word though, all of my dsm friends are always bitchin about "always havin to work on their car" or "need to tune it again" if i give em the biz about it, they say that if a honda made that much power it would need constant work, too.... but there are plenty of high power hondas around here that dont spend as much tuning time as those dsms...

My brother has a 91 Galant VR-4 and that shit is a really fast car. Matter a fact another friend of ours across the street has another one. And all these 2 people do every week is pop the hood and get to work. If you wanna drive your car for another week expect to work on it over the weekend. There speed is great! The car and manuf suck balls all the way. I don't think you will ever find any other car but Honda/Acura that will out last as long as these things do.

Personally, I like the GSR better. The Eclipses look too bulky for my taste, and the GSR will handle better.
