So we are assigned this project for engineering and it is to design a coffee cup that would hold the highest temperature at the end of 20 minutes. You will modify a styrofoam cup and be able to use the following materials:
foam chips
plastic wrap
tape
cardboard
foil

and the cup must be uncovered w/ a minimum opening diamteter of 7cm on top.

What i plan on doing is lining the inside and outside of foil and also put a cardboard sleeve on the outside. what do you guys think?

 

sleeve it, then bore it out a lil bit. It'll be bullet proof and also having lil higher displacement.

you'd be better off putting the foil on the inside.

 

eat the cup really fast
then wash it down with the hot coffee immediately
guaranteed an A+
