Where does one get a student discount my last roommate bought some software dirt cheap some place online

Mac sells their stuff at a discount price if you're a student...this includes all computers and ipods.

www.studentadvantage.com . That place is the shiznit. I payed for the card and got more then my money back. I wasnt even a student either i just needed a way to get 10 dollars off at foot locker or a way to get discounted hotel rooms if i wanted to have one of my infamous strippa partys.

try asking the infotech dept at your school. that's how the schools around here do it, the discounts are administered by the info/tech dept.

yup, PSU does the same thing...but the discount isn't even worth the hassle of walking 1.5 miles to the IST "terminal" to buy it.

Yup that's how Stanford and Michigan do it too. Back in the day you could get Office 2000 Pro for $33 at Michigan.
