Default Ghost in the shell 2

Ok. So i saw Ghost in the Shell 2 - Innocence this weekend. My first reaction to the movie was "awww man this is subtitled", now dont get me wrong i like sub-titles but for some reason when its in movie form i tend to fall asleep during it. I've done that will all the dragon ball z movies i seen the cowboy bebop movie, and Inuyasha love that trenscends time. Anyway, the beginning of the movie was cool. I loved the way they blended CG with anime and at some points it looked as if the background the characters were in was real. I particularly gave them 2 thumbs up for that. Now i was able to follow the movie till they went to the Northern area to investigate the company producing the robots. All of a sudden BAM!!! The movie took a turn downhill to me and became waaaaaaaaaaay too philosophical. At the point in the movie is where they lost me, i then lost interest, and i then fell asleep. Overall i think the movie was good. They just needed to do something better about the plot. To me it was like watching the matrix series all over again. Dealing with prophecies and philosophies.

Yeah the script was just waaaay too deep. I hated it.

Visuals were like 11 out of 10 stars though

And my friend met the guy who composited the dog and the fishbowl scene.

Yea true. But i mean I spoke with alot of other "nerds" that were at the theater as well. Alot of people were confused and said the plot needed to be revamped a whole lot. But you do hold a valid point. GITS is a very philosphical series. I just cant wait till they bring it over to the states.
