Default itr exhaust

i posted this in the civic forum but no one has replied so ill take it here...does anyone know if the stock ITR axelback would fit on a 94 civic 4 door? i really like the tip on them. cops are arseholes in my town and they outlaw any kind of modification to the exhaust system, so i thought why not just buy a stock type R muffler. what kind of modifications could i do to the muffler or my 2.25" midpipe to make it fit?

Does the sedan have the same axle back as the coupe, or is it longer? If they are the same, the axle back should fit. However they might need to modify the flange, because it uses spring bolts on the stock unit I think.

modifying the flange is of no concern, thats the easy part. i just want to know if the piping would line up with the civic piping. the coupe is a little shorter than the sedan, but i can get either the coupe or sedan axelback. KThnxBye.
