All MRE's started tasting the same to me after eating them for so long. They have that preserved taste. It's kinda weird. It doesn't matter if I eat Jambalaya or ravioli, it tastes the same.

that's exactly what i hear from my military friends. its probably true. I've only eaten it 2 times. don't they last like 5 years on the shelf?
