Hey all, I just need to vent for a second.
My friend (an ex of 4 years ago) e-mailed me to tell me that his grandmother died this morning. I talked to him this morning around 10 and he told me how she had been in the hospital all this week and what not. Her lungs had filled with water and they had to force air into her lungs so she could breathe. She'd been in intensive care all this week.
I just now got an e-mail from him to let me know that she passed and that he'll call later (or e-mail, he didn't say) to give me the funeral details. Would it be right if I went?
His grandmother was such a sweet old lady. I used to go over there and have dinner with him and his grandparents. She had a recurring history of heart/lung problems and I guess being old, her lungs finally gave out on her.

if you go, you're going for BOTH of them...to pay your respects to her and to give him a little bit of support. Whether it was a bad break up or not, this is a time to push those hostilities to the side.
I would go.
RIP <3
I would go.
RIP <3
We're friends and all and I was close with his family, so that was a stupid question. But I never been in a situation like this before and I just want to make sure. Thanks.
