Hell, most cell phones nowadays have calendar features and such built in to them anyway.
I basically need it to stay organized. I would put in hw assignments, appointments, and things to do. Nothing has really worked for me and I am always forgetting things. Hopefull this would help me. Especially the first two I listed because it shows what you have to do for the day right on the screen. I use my phone a lot and seeing what I have to do everytime I look at the phone would be really helpful.

I've been looking into it more and if I got the i700 I would probably get a GPS for it. It would mount nice in the car and be easy to read. But that isn't the most important thing.

If you're just trying it out then spend 15 bucks on a paper day planner before you drop several hundred on some gadget that you may or may not use.

tried that, doesn't really work. Plus I can't seem to remember to bring my day planner with me everywhere I go. For some reason I have no trouble remembering my cellphone:dunno: not really sure why. But a smartphone just seems like it would work for me.
Plus that isn't the point. Of the ones listed above which would be the best.

Well, if you have trouble remembering to bring your cell phone with you, I would get the most pocket-friendly of the bunch so you're more likely to carry it. From looking at the dimensions that would appear to be the Samsung i600.

No, I have trouble remembering to bring everything but my cellphone...that is why having a cellphone/PDA combo would work well for me....I have big pockets and any of the above will fit.

Geez, why is everyone in this thread making it so difficult for you. This reminds me of when I was trying to decide which car to buy and all people could do was tell me to save my money and that I couldn't afford a car that expensive.

You are in the same boat I am. It's a real PITA to carry around my cellphone + PDA + Digicam, gettin a device that would do all of those would be so awsome. The only problem is none of them have a camera that I would consider acceptable at this time. I voted for the i700. Notice that the Kyocera has the biggest battery and the lowest talk/standby time, doesn't sound very "smart" to me.

But to stay on topic, I'd probably get the Sony Ericsson P900 (or the newer P910a later this year) if I had to get a PDA/phone. But since you're under Verizon, that wouldn't help you out much.

If you dont have a contract with Verizon now get the GSM Nokia 6600/6620 it's pretty small for a smart phone, if you are going to stay with Verizon the Motorola V710

PDA phones suck, I speak from experience.
