im using Nero6 and DVD X Copy1.3 but, it stops copying cause the disk is copy right protected
DVDShrink is free, and IMO better than DVDXCopy. It's all you need (well, that and Nero).
if that doesn't work, download DVD Decrypter (also free), and decrypt the DVD into an ISO, then use DVDShrink.

i think smartripper is all in one..

and for on the fly dvd ripping to the hard drive (encoding and all) check out videolan

NOT: you'll need a fast computer to use that to its full advantage

DVDShrink + Nero. But DVDShrink uses Nero to burn automatically.

DVDDecrypter would probably work, also.

I use dvd decrypter when dvdshrink doesn't like the disc.

I think that dvdshrink gives pretty decent video quality, but I've yet to try CCE. I guess I should.

anyDVD is a program that sits in your system tray and is activated whenever you put in a dvd. it removes advanced forms of copy protection (sony arcCOS and others) on the fly, and can be used in tandem with dvdshrink, x copy, or any other ripper/transcoder.

Let me guess: resident evil: apocalypse?? :rick:
