Then UPS

Thinking about switching to FedeX but I noticed on there web site that the rates were a little more. UPS gives me a discount for daily pickup does Fedex offer anything like UPS?

DHL is cheaper than them all.

 

UPS is reliable with time ...service is bleh...

FEDEX is cheap...but time sucks

DHL is cheap...but I never really dealt with them.

 

FEDEX air provides better service in general than we can, but they're more expensive. Fedex ground absolutely sucks, because it's more expensive and it's slower. FEDEX freight is the worst. h:

DHL is cheap but they can never get the delivery time right.

 

I see it as the opposite...Fedex is faster than UPS 9 times out of 10.

 

hell yah...FEDEX Ground absolutely sucks. I dont see why it takes longer.

 

Ground service is what I use 95% of the time. I never used DHL before but I have received packages from them. One thing I like about DHL, their here really early.

 

The place I use to work at used UPS as a carrier.

For normal ground shipments from Socal to Norcal...it takes 2 business days ..not a day later. (unless a train wrecked...)


FEDEX however is a few bucks more...and takes 3-4 business days for ground shipments. ??? !!????

 

They have a slower linking system. IE they will send 6 trucks from milwaukee to chicago all at the same time. We'll send ~8 trucks per day, but more importantly, we'll send one truck every three hours or so.

IE we keep our facilities moving 24/6, but they keep their volume moving 1 time each night :af:
