Default Trans Siberian Orchestra 2004

I know honda_pilot went last year. So who all are going this year? If you haven't seen them then you really are missing a kick ass band. Their final Christmas trilogy cd comes out October 12. It'll be the third year in a row we are going, if I can work it around my schedule.

Tour dates are here: http://trans-siberian.com/ontour/index.shtml

$45 ain't really that much if you consider the fact that you get a 3 hr kick ass show.

I'd absolutely love to go. It figures though, the one date they are in my area I may be away on vacation

I looked at the schedule again and saw that many dates they are at two places at once. Do they have two orchestra's? How can they be at:

Fri. Dec. 17th - Detroit, MI (Palace of Auburn Hills)
Fri. Dec. 17th - Tucson, AZ (TCC Arena)

or

Sat. Dec. 18th - Columbus, OH (Nationwide Arena)
Sat. Dec. 18th - Las Vegas, NV (Aladdin Theater)

or

Sun. Dec. 19th - Grand Rapids, MI (Van Andel Arena)
Sun. Dec. 19th - Fresno, CA (Warner Ctr. For Performing Arts)

Because of the popularity they have 2 touring parties one for east and one for west. The core of the band is Savatage so they send 2 or 3 of the guys out east and 2 or 3 out west. East usually gets guitarist Chris Caffery, drummer Jeff Plate, keyboard player/producer Robert Kinkel. West usually gets guitarist Al Pitrelli and bassist Johnny Lee Middleton. The guest musicians who join them are amazing, ranging from classical musicians to current metal bands.
