Ok guys so now that i've found out why the CEL was activated. I ran the code and was 1 Long 7 Short which is the speed sensor for those who missed the last thread. I took it to my mechanic buddy and he told me he could put a new one in for 15 bucks but I had to buy the part. So i drove around to a couple junk yards and the cheapest i found was one for 165. YIKES!!!!! So I went back to him and he told me that since im gonna be doing a engine swap by the end of the year not to worry about it. Now the other problem I was having was this; whenever i would turn I would hear a clicking noise through the steering wheel. He drove it and said he could hear it but it was very very faint. So we got back to the shop and he looked at the right side and saw the boot was ripped. He told me I could either take a gamble and replace the boot, or i could just go and replace the whole axle and that would cost me 250. So i plan on having him replace the axel the same time I do the engine swap since he said I can still drive around on the axel worry free because it's not going to break for a while. I found the place im going to buy my B16a2 engine from. Japanstarmotors will be the supplier due to the fact that they quoted me $1200 for the whole thing. That includes motor, tranny and ECU. He also told me it dont come with axles and that i could get axles for $100. So im looking at $1300 for everything shipped directly to my mechanic. My mechanic told me he'd do the swap for $600-$700. Sorry for being so long winded but I just wanted to let yall know about my progress with the car.

I've been doing that since Freshman year young skip. I also plan on continuing that. I needed a change. Now that i got that out of my system, im gonna go to the movies to see Resident Evil and pull a chick while im at the movies.

 

You can do your own axle for like $60 and about a half hour of beer time. If I was out that way I would donate the time because $250 for an axle is a ripoff IMO...of course it is shop rates and all.
