:werd: My cat "fell off" :rick:, so I went down to Bubba's (name changed to protect the guilty) exhaust shop to install a straightpipe. The thing sounded so mean, but had no power cause I had no way to hook up the split air pipe. Took the guy 10 minutes, paid the $15, and rode off into the sunset. A month later the rear rotor housing decided to part ways with the an apex seal I had spent over $1500 in new parts on the car and ended up selling it for $750 :happysad:

I think his meter was off...126 dB is INSANELY loud...I doubt your car is near that loud.

Yeah, so every 3db is double the noise level. so,

126-92= 34db

Which would be 17X the legal limit.

that seems like a rediculously high exhaust level. My stereo hits 140+ Db and that is insanely loud

It's a logarithmic scale, your stereo is another 5X as loud.

So take up all his noise, and add it together 5 times.
