I have one.....never had a reason for it to kick on but its there

I use it on my server, the rest of my stuff can suffer the BSD on reboot.

I remember in college we'd get occasional power outages in the dorms, my roommate would always be like, "Fawk!" while I just carried on :chuckles:. Good times.

You can get some cheap ones, but they only stay up long enough for you to save and shut down.

 

i have one in my closet i've never hooked up. i've thought about it though.
