Just my luck, they gave me a Digi Rebel that is fawked. Last night I thought I was just having problems since the battery was dead. I charged it all night and today when I go to shoot, it will turn on 50% of the time when I switch it to the "On" position. Sometimes it will come right up. Other times it will flash EOS like once every 20secs and then finally come on after 2minutes of waiting. I read over the instructions and from what I see, thats not supposed to happen. So I'm off to Circuit City after work to trade it for another.

 

Man that is the suck.

I was about to say, you'll love that camera. My sis' bf has one and I'm in love with that thing. It makes my A80 feel like child's play.

 

I think I just got a "lemon". If the next one is also jacked, I know I'll have problems but all the reviews I've seen are very positive for this camera.

You can hack the firmware on the camera to open up some features. If nightshade doesnt say more on it...ask DakarM, he did it to his digi-rebel.

And yes, the digi-rebel is a sexy camera. :green:
