They issue a bag of their own crap, and they issue a set of cuffs. The rest is up to you, sort of.

They give you an allowance each year, like $1000 or whatever. I have four pairs of cuffs, 3 of the single chain type and 1 of the double chain. Then in that bag I have another set of cuffs and the heavy-duty riot cuffs (big zip ties basically).

The duty bag is for all of my own personal crap, like all of my extra stuff, gloves, cuffs, ammunition, mask, air filter, the issued gas mask, extra evidence collecting stuff, etc. etc. That way I can just show up with my own bag, toss it in the trunk or passenger seat and go to work. No need to switch out people's stuff and things like that.

hotness.
I have pre-ordered two normal capacity mags for my gun. Once Sept 14th rolls around, bye bye AWB, bye bye reduced cap 10 rounders (you CA gun owners are still screwed with the 10 rnd max cap though) hello 12 rounders

When I get enough money I'm gonna buy some 'scarey black weapons'

Some of the California people are screwed, I, however, am not. I get to purchase the 15 rounders for my USP 9, and the 13's for my USP 40. (Didn't take possession of the .45, got a .40 instead, the .45 was just a bit big in my hand).

Now all I need is to wait for Para Ordnance to release their Warhog and I'll be carrying that as my off-duty and backup.

I originally though about carrying a 1911 clone, but I opted for a double stack .40 S&W for more capacity, and good stopping power. The whole single stack mag thing doesn't give me as much ammo as I want to carry.
