Default USB 2.0 Users...

Mainly the ones that don't have 2.0 on their motherboards but uses the PCI port for it. I am looking to buy a USB 2.0 PCI card, but haven't a clue to what is good or not. I know there are some chipsets that work better than others...and again I do not know what they are.

If you have one of these..please help me out by listing the Brand / Model...Operating System...and your review on the card. h:

Thanks.

I think the one I put in my girlfriends old win98 box was an orange micro. I had a couple of issues setting it up but only because that was a very old machine and I had to custom configure some of the IRQ and I/O range's to make it work (the box was a Pentium Pro200 machine that I bought in 97 or so and has every PCI and 2/3's of the ISA slots filled). I had no complaints, worked fine and her scanner worked great. I still have the card in the machine downstairs (I built her a little shuttle box this summer).

Thanks for the replies. I ask because the last one I bought did't work with this box, however it did with my other one. Both have the same OS' :dunno:
