Cool little vid. The AMD won with the hottest temperature. :reechy: h: So even the newest XP processors from AMD dont have some sort of protection mode on their chips? How silly.

if you think about it... :think: I said think damn it!

it's not a big deal since who is going to remove their heat sink when the puter is on. as long as the heat sink is there it will be fine.

oem=no warranty

retail=usually just a little bit more expensive with warranties.

for example, processors that are in retail packages come with a heatsink and a heatsink fan.

videocards come with drivers and games..etc. go with retail unless u know what ur doing.

But there can be a chance of the fan not turning on...or the heatsink falling off. :uhhok:

Generally non-OEM computAr parts are rice...they add more megahurtz though.

h:
that's my point. as long as the heatsink is still on the cpu it wont burn up, even if the fan fails.

i actually ran pentium ones w/o a heatsink and nothing happened...but when i tired it on a amd k6? it burned my finger, lol.

but my cpu didnt come with a heatsink...
