i was sitting in front of CVS today and i saw this loud ass truck sounding noise so i looked around and saw a X5. on the side it said "3.0D" dotn they usually say 3.2 or 4.4? i thought it was wierd. the license plate also said Consul. was it shipped hear from germany and its a german model? ahh. i also so a Porchse 911 turbo and it had some pretty bad turbo lag but it was still nice

 

3.0D would make it a 3.0L diesel model.


X5 only comes in 2 flavors 3.0L gas and 4.4L gas (in the US).

So it probably was a euro model 3.0L diesel.

bmw is making plans to bring some diesel models over to the US in 05 or 06.
