Default I was bored yesterday so I ordered this

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...122-132&depa=0

Leadtek PCI TV/FM Tuner Card, REMOTE, Model "WinFast TV2000 XP Deluxe" -RETAIL

Later on I'll probably get a Double Layer Dual format DVDRW and go crazy recording shows and movies and commercials or whatever I feel like.

Don't bother waiting for a DVD burner. NTSC video is pretty low quality to begin with. VCD or SVCD will be fine.

I wish they made an HDTV card that could also control a satellite receiver (or even better, decode the satellite signals itself, so I wouldn't even need an HD satellite receiver)...if they did I'd build me a media center PC.

As for Dual Layer DVD burners, I here this one's awesome:

If you're in the market for a dvd burner, http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...152-030&depa=1 is my suggestion. Even with the stcok firmware, the stock pi/po error scans on cheap media are better than anything I've ever seen (ie it has a really good laser).
