hey guys.. at my workplace our boss has a 2000 ford edpedition with the 5.4 litre i think, and he always jokes abour rice racers and small 1.5 litre alluminum can engines... list goes on. well one of my co worker has a 92 hatch with..

92 civic cx
D16z6 motor
intake, headers, exhaust
aem fuel rail
no interrior, shotgun seat, spare tire
cf hood
hx lightweight wheels
car weighed in at 1,950 pounds


should it be worth it to even try? im thinkin high rpm 140 hp vs 250 hp?
full torque vs no torque
1,950 vs 5,000 pounds

 

if your co worker can haul alot of ass off the line then i think he'd have him, does your boss have any mods?

 

i think the hatchy would win, not by much, but he'd win.

 

the hatch will absolutley smoke the expedition.

 

The hatch would definitely tear the expedition a new tail end....Yesterday here in Memphis at the Import Face Off there were alot of hondas, acuras, nissans, and so forth beating the suvs and trucks and hell they were even killing the Camaros and Firebirds as well as the good ol Mustang....lol........:rofl:

 

haha.. i really gotta tell my co worker to get it on.. the expedition has no mods whatsoever just a 5.4 V8, full of torque, just our boss keep on talking shit everyday when they see us. things like.. hey i'll buy you guys a vtec sticker to put on your side window.. it says 10 hp on ebay.. blah blah blah. but yea it would be sometihng to see.. i'll post up the results

The expedition is a giant pig. The civic is prolly faster but the expediton could drive over the civic and flatten it if it felt like.
