what are your thoughts on that?

for a person (who shall remain nameless :rick: )who does not "need" speed and the headache of smog and wants a good looking ride. dont get me wrong, a fast car is uber cool but it seriously isn't worth it from a financial point of view from a college student h:

i have this inner urge to get a silvia front end (painted to match my existing color) and get 17's and a nice drop (springs for comfort and looks not track)

Personally show, speed or both can work in one car.

 

what sucks is that show and speed cost almost the same.

ie. rb20det gts skyline motor ~1200 plus ~300 for misc parts to install
and my car would be a total sleeper

silvia front end 500. paint ~250 for a DIY job since i have all the equipment in the garage. spring/shocks ~500. rims ~varies

oh the choices...plus my dad has a smog hookup too so thats even betta h:

 

I just found out yesterday all the upgrades that aren't smog legal and I realized that California suxorz.

id like to have a ridiculously fast car someday
but being a college student and all, i bought my car for practicality/economy. but i like it to look good too.
i also like driving spiritidley through mountains so it handles decently too.
but still gets awesome gas mileage
